In 1961 the Rebel Railroad Theme Park-Amusement Park opens. It has a miniature steam train and numerous other attraction centered around an 'old wild west town'....

In 1970 The park is purchased by totally different owners and re-named Goldrush Junction. From 1970 through 1975 the theme remains the same but more 'amusement type attractions' are added.

In 1976 the park was re-named Goldrush and in 1977 Silver Dollar City. In 1986 the park became Dollywood. Major re-construction and building was done and doubtfully anything remains of these older parks even though all sit on the same land.
