Need more history of this park !!!! I do not know what year the 'haunted' note was written.
Elkhart Lake's largest park is June Vollrath Park. It has few kept up baseball diamonds, a bathroom complex and building, and a nice playground with swings, etc. June Vollrath Park was formally named the Lions Park.
A small kid fell off the top of the big slide and died. Now he spends time playing at the park.
Late at night, swings mysteriously swing and the merry-go-round spins when there is no wind.
