The train is awesome. In my estimation, this is one of the park's treasures. It goes the entire distance around the park, chugging up and down dips and turns with new and interesting sights, sounds, smells and exotic wildlife all along the way. Dan Byler, the seventy plus year old founder, owner and current operator of the park worked on the railroads as a young man. His love for trains is evident in this scaled down version. It sounds just like one of the 1800's Iron Horses that traveresed the plains in our country's early days, complete with an authentic sounding train whistle. Everyone loves the train!

Near the end of the ride, the conductor gives a couple toots of the horn before the train clickety-clacks into a long tunnel. It becomes nearly pitch black for a moment or two and then bursts back out into the sunlight. It'll touch the kid in everyone. If you come to our park, definitely take the train ride.
