History of Stith Park unknown at this time.

There was a Carousel at Stith Park, in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. The Herschell company built the Carousel circa 1925.

It was bought from an area resident (?) and placed in park in 1961. Later used for PARTS for Carousel at Sunset Park.

Now called Stith Talbert Park

Offering playgrounds, ball fields, tennis courts and new water park. Located on Spruce and Atlantic. This park has been completely renovated and connects to the Tar River Trail.
